A RESOLUTION TO RESTORE ONE AREA OF SANITY TO MINNESOTA:

WHEREAS the legislature exempted itself and schools from the provisions of the law but not the public facilities of city, county and township governments in Minnesota, and

WHEREAS the supervisors of the Town of Duluth do not believe that a more armed, loaded and concealed society is a more safe and secure society, therefore

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Town of Duluth join in support of other townships, cities, and counties demanding repeal of the “conceal-carry” law, and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that until the above law is repealed, the public buildings of Duluth Township – namely the Town Hall, the Community Center, and fire-halls – are to be “concealed – loaded firearms unwelcome” facilities, and posted conspicuously as such near all entrances.
