Special Ordinance Meeting

Meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m.
Approve minutes from the February 1, 2005 meeting.
Corlis West made a motion to approve the minutes as amended and clarified for February 1st minutes. Stephen Dahl seconded.
Motion to approve minutes - Motion passed.
Jeff Cook would like to make a motion to change that from 5% to 9% George Sundstrom seconded. Jeff Cook amended his motion to include impervious surface immediately after the word change and Article 7, Section 2 (A) in the July 2004 book. Jeff Cook’s motion is referring back to minutes from September 1, 2004 line 87. George Sundstrom withdrew his second, Jeff Cook withdrew his motion.
Jeff Cook made a motion to change LIU 3A minimum lot coverage from 5% as adopted December 28 minutes line 30 – 32 to 9%. George Sundstrom seconded the motion. Jeff Cook withdrew his motion; George Sundstrom is not willing to withdraw his second. Corlis made a motion to call the question – Motion to end discussion passed. On the motion - Jeff Cook, Stephen Dahl, George Sundstrom – Yes Corlis West – No
Corlis West made motion to add to the definition of driveway in article 2 page 20, private access to agricultural land by culverting a ditch solely for the purpose for agricultural access to the property shall not constitute a driveway, George Sundstrom seconded. Motion passed
Stephen Dahl made a motion to approve the Town of Duluth zoning ordinance dated July 2004, printed July 29, 2004 including amendments passed by the Town Board from August 5, 2004 to present. The zoning ordinance shall be submitted to St. Louis County for their approval. The ordinance shall not go into effect until it is approved by St. Louis County, George Sundstrom seconded. Motion passed.
George Sundstrom made a motion that before we present the Zoning Ordinance to the county we have a meeting to review all of the revisions. Stephen Dahl seconded. Motion passed
