Call 911
for all Emergencies

About Us
Read More...
Our Clifton Volunteer Fire Department was founded in 1945.
The Fire Dept. has a business meeting at 7pm on the first Wed. of each month and a training meeting on the third Wed. at 7 pm at
Station 1.
Volunteers are Welcome.
When Should You Call 911?
In general, call 911 for emergencies — fire, health, accidents, threats, assaults or burglaries in progress, suspicious activity, etc. If it is an urgent concern to you, you should call 911 and the dispatcher will decide what sort of action is needed. This is also the way to get in contact with our Township Officers for emergencies.

Household Fire Extinguishers
Read More...
At least one household multi-purpose extinguisher is recommended for every 600 square feet of living space. At least one on each level of the home. Recommended locations are the kitchen, bedroom, utility and furnace rooms, garage, and any other area with a heat source, flammables, or potential for ignition.

  911 Fire Numbers

Ann Cox, Town Clerk
Be sure your 9-1-1 reflective "fire number" is posted at the end of your driveway with a clear view from your road. In emergencies, it helps fire, first responders and our police to quickly find you, especially on dark and stormy nights! For some homes, it is the only address marking; many mail boxes don't have legible numbers.

If you need to get a fire number or update to the new double-sided reflective style, leave a message at our Town Hall (525-5705) or call the 911 office (727-8770).
